Fukai Mori(Inu Yasha Second Ending) - D.A.I |
] |
And here I sit.... perched upon a branch of the old oak outside the plantation on Dathlin. Tis such a dreary sight.... the place is torn apart, rotting for years... likely older than my father, although he was sent from this mortal coil years ago.... by my own hands. Hmmm, looks like an undead creature is attacking an adventurer in the distance... I'm sure they can handle themselves, if not, tis not my problem really. I decided to take a break here, while upon my simple task of killing yet another undead creature. For Tyrek's sake, why do they keep sending me to kill creatures that are already dead? Isn't the concept a bit, unsound? In any case, tis a simple task. I can not believe that my son has grown so quickly in such a short time.... soon it may be time to teach him the finer arts of combat. I am sure Lea will have a fit over that, but so did my mother when my father mentioned it, and here I am now.
It seems that the recent war Tyrek has been raging upon Mventious has sparked another war into existance. It was but a few days ago, a messenger came and told me that Klevnone had declared Armengar a hostile enemy. Tis a shame, war just south of us, guess I shall have to spend more of our tax money upon increasing the guard to keep the violence from our streets. Maybe I should have our troops rallyed, just in case, as Koda, the king of Armengar, has came to me seeking our assistance. I may have offered it, if I wasn't already enthralled with a religious war, tis a shame about that war, it is. They strike us, we strike back.... I can not count how many times my blade has sunk into their followers, but they get what they asked for, as THEY are the fools who declared war on us. Tyrek was only after Sys'kee for their aggressions. Tis a pity, Mventious and Lunis have already sent their wishes for peace, but while the others remain aggressive to the rest of Tyrek, there can truely not be peace.
Hopefully, this war can end soon, as the morale of our followers seems to slowly be slipping, however, it does seem to go back up when one makes a successful attack upon one of Mventious'. Poor hunters, they can only be as strong as their weakest member, while the, so-called prey, can pick off the weaker members and run without any hinderance. An underhanded tactic, I'm sure, but when at war, anything goes, especially if ye win. Sys'kee was offered a chance to end the war, if Adara would face me in combat, but, she declined, like the cowardice she is. She has fled and hid from me twice, and then mocked me while she hid in rooms protected by the Gods and Goddesses of the realm. If it wasn't for those rooms, she would be resting in the ground... assuming she is even still one of the living.
It seems that my time for this quest is starting to wear thin... guess I'd best go fell that creature, then return and await another task.

It's My Life -- Bon Jovi |

491 Post Dragon-Kalchi Wars, Fourth Week of the Bear, 23rd day (Okay, I made that up, shut up).
It seems that on this day, I am forced into a very, unfortunate position. As of late, followers of Sys'kee have been threatening my fellow followers of Strife, and our allies, the followers of Chaos, as well as attacking. As a precaution, I sent out a warning to my fellow religion mates, warning them of possible attacks upon their lives by those who serve the Goddess of Death. It seems that while I rested with mine wife, in our every so comfy bed, this possiblity, was made reality. It seems Adara of Sys'kee, attacked Vrulle, a follower of Atiar'i, and furthermore, a citizen of my fair city.
She claimed it was in vengeance, and personal, not a matter of religion or kingdom. However, he story seems flawed, throwing accusations at Vrulle, accusations which I highly doubt she can back up. I hold no, agression towards Mesilena at this point, but Sys'kee.... Sys'kee is another story, and, I believe before the new year comes, Tyrek will plunge into war, and face the Goddess of Death and those of her faith.
On another, more happy note, it seems that Leadora is well, as always, however, she is now starting to show signs of the child she carries, my child, her child... our child. She has gone to great lengths to hide this from the rest of the realm. Ingenious of her to use a long, white cloak to cover the bulge which begins to swell. I can't help but smile whenever I think of her, although, I still have a hard time believe that she ever did leave me.... the thought alone tis a sad one, but, as many have said to me, "what's done is done, look to the future, dwell not on the past." I guess whoever said that was right, in a sense.
It appears as though Garilos is slipping below the trees, and Leadora is beginning to stir from her slumber. I pray she learns not of the events that have transpired overnight, I have hidden all sign of the note from her and our kingdom, hoping no one else had the chance to see it. I must remember to sharpen my scythe up, to prepare for possible battle in the very near future....
